The Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo is in town, and Layla couldn't miss it. I remember going every year as a kid, and I want Layla to have pictures and memories of all her stock shows. After being couped up all week with the cold weather and ice, we were anxious to get out on this nice day. We started off with some Angelo's bar-be-que, then headed to Will Rogers. Layla went to the petting zoo, through the exhibition halls and the barns. She saw horses, cows, pigs, goats, rabbits, chickens, a donkey, etc. We even walked around the Midway, but those rides will have to wait for another year.Everything was interesting to her, so the animals didn't stick out much. The sawdust on the floor piqued her interest just as much as the goat sitting next to her, and the woman with the hat more than the horse towering over her. Oh well, it was still fun.

Layla missed a nap in the process of all the fun and fell asleep as we were walking to the car. It's extremely rare for her to just fall asleep in my arms while in public, so this was exhaustion.
Sending love to all from Cowtown.
