We gained a new member of the family this week. My cousin, Summer, and her husband, Brody, welcomed their first baby in the world this week. We refer to him as Cousin Cason. We sat up at the hospital for hours waiting for him to make his entrance. Layla kept everyone entertained with her goofy smiles and endless rounds of pat-a-cake. She's such a ham sometimes. Here she is at the hospital. 
We only got to see him through the glass in the nursery the night he was born, so we made it to their house today to see him in person. He seems so tiny compared to Layla. He is adorable and yes, Layla is envious of that head of hair. It will be so fun to see them grow up together and interact. I love that they'll be so close in age.
