My, how you've grown

Let me start off by saying it is a BEAUTIFUL sunday here in my part of the world. It's about 60 degrees and sunny. I just returned from a nice walk feeling refreshed and took some pics to share of my 35 +4 week belly.

While on my walk I noticed just how much little Layla has grown. When she tries to make one of her acrobatic moves from one side of my stomach to the other, my abdomen expands on both sides to an uncomfortable, hard to breathe state. I feel she's dropped a little more in the last week. The bladder is obviously misplaced, especially for a pregnant woman. I actually kept a pen and paper in the bathroom the other day to get an accurate count of how many times Layla sends me running for a potty break. On this particular day...14 times in a 24 hour period! No wonder I get nothing done. These frequent breaks seem to scramble my thought process, and I actually forget the task I was in the middle of when I was called to the bathroom. So, many hours later, I notice the email I started or that the oven is still on, because I intended
on baking cookies that morning. I hope these memory lapses disappear with the birth, or Layla is in for a rough start with a crazy mom.

Here's the belly shot I took today. It's not for the faint of heart.
Whoa, mama!! You can't tell from the picture angles, but my belly button is gone. Luckily I only have 4 1/2 weeks of possible growth.
