I had a Dr.'s appt. this morning. They monitored her heart, which looks great and is getting plenty of oxygen. The uterus has hit it's highest point under my ribs, and she has engaged a little further. Her head has moved further into my pelvis, which is the cause of my 20+ trips to the bathroom each day. No exceptionally early arrival expected, though. He estimated her at almost 5 pounds, which blows my mind. So, we're grateful for the health of our little munchkin, and counting down the days until she arrives.
The only bad thing is my iron levels are still low, so I'm on a new supplement. I'm still getting over my cold, but I think I'm on the mend. I've never been so excited to cough up phlegm. I see it as a cleansing ritual to rid my body of this evil illness. I have great plans to accomplish many things around the house in the next 2 weeks, so I'm going to need all the energy I can muster.
So, that's the news from Germany. We're hangin' in. We miss everyone!
