Summer and I took Layla and Cason to a pumpking patch last weekend. The goal was to get some cute fall pics of them together with the pumpkins. Didn't even get one. Who wants to play with pumpkins when there are bouncy houses and tractors and cartoon cut-outs? Had to just let them run around and be kids. Here are a couple pics of Layla from that day.
We celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary on October 2nd. Seems like these years have gone by pretty quickly. We decided to go to Billy Bob's Texas (world's largest honky tonk) and see Clint Black in concert. We had a really good time. The concert was great, and it was a nice break to eat out and do something with just the two of us. Now if only the concert would have started earlier...We're definitely getting old when staying out til midnight is just too late. While we were out, my parents took Layla to a wedding reception where she danced the night away for 3 hours and ate chocolate cake at 10:00 at night. She has always been my night owl.
Layla likes to dress herself, and she comes up with the craziest outfits. This weekend it was brown sandals with white socks, bathing suit bottoms, pink shirt, white fidora hat and beads. Here are a few more pics.
