Break open the champagne (which we did), we finally got orders! Tuesday afternoon we finally had orders in hand, and Wednesday morning we got started on appointments. We fly back to TX on Oct 1, which is less than two weeks away. We drop off our car for shipment on the 25th, the movers will be here 28-29, the 30th will be an insane day of clearing the installation and the 1st will be freedom.
There will be plenty to keep us busy back in TX, but it will seem easy and fun compared to the way things are going here. We'll be living out of suitcases for at least two months while our stuff takes the slow boat to the U.S. I'm not sure how long the car will take to make it to Dallas, but we plan on buying another as soon as we get back.
We can't wait for everyone in TX to see Layla again. She's changed so much in the 4 1/2 months back in Germany. It's amazing the things she seems to understand now. I don't realize what she knows til I jokingly tell her to do something, and she does it! Hmmmm...makes you wonder about all the times she doesn't do what I ask.
Well, that's the news. I don't have any pictures ready at this time, and I'm not sure if I will before the move. So, be patient with me.
