Autumn Days

What a relief! It seems that autumn has finally decided to grace us with it's presence. We've been having some beautiful days, and with them, an outdoor baby photo shoot. Layla has been doing so much better with her sitting up, which makes pictures much easier. Even Sandy decided she'd give Layla a lick on this gorgeous day.

We made our trip to Canton this past weekend, which was awesome. If you've never been (and live in TX) I'd suggest making the trip. It was so huge I definitely would've been lost if it weren't for Aunt Deb leading the way. Get a hotel and make a weekend of it. We bought quite a few things, and Layla did very well considering the heat.

Jonathan is making his move to his new assignment as Brigade Engineer. He should be getting moved and settled this week. Please pray for safety. He's looking forward to the new job and anticipating better resourcing.
