80's Lady

It wasn't my intentions when I got her dressed this morning, but Layla now looks like an extra from a Cyndi Lauper music video. First, we started with a cute onsie. Then, I decided it was chilly in the house, so I put on these new pants that were given to her by Maw Maw. They were meant to go under a dress, but they looked small enough to fit her now, and the dress is still a little big. Later on, I felt her feet were cold, so I pulled out some new socks and picked a matching color. I started laughing at how 80's she looked, so I put the bow on to complete the ensemble. Hey, girls just want to have fun!

Layla has been practicing sitting everyday. She's gotten so much better in just a week's time. She sits with the boppy for support and plays with her toys. Also, if we balance her, she can sit by herself for a minute or so. She can amuse herself more and more. Lately she likes to lay on the bed and scream as loud and high pitched as she can. No one needs to be in the room. She's just finding her voice and playing. When she's tired or wants company, she'll definitely let you know. She has the pitiful face down. She knows how to get the love and attention from Mommy and Oma. Who can resist this frown?
