Well, it seems Layla has developed an aversion to men. From sweet little old men to waiters to the anchorman on the nightly news, she's scared of them all. The only man she likes is my dad, but she's used to seeing him all the time. If a man talks to her or gets too close, she bursts into a horrible, sad cry. I'm not sure how to get her out of this phase. I'm hoping if I show her pictures of Daddy all the time, she will be able to tolerate him when he comes home for R&R. That would be disappointing for her to scream at Daddy the whole 2 weeks.
If anyone has any suggestions on getting her out of this or how long it might last, let me know.
