Anyone seen Layla?

Uncle Doug went shopping at Cabela's and came back with a gift for Layla. Here she is sporting her camo sleeper with ruffles. He didn't even know what size 3M meant, but he got it exactly right. It is pretty cute, and now we have to say "Where's Layla??" when she wears it.

Layla has been learning so many new things lately. She rolled from her back to tummy twice. She's finding her feet and holding them (no toes in the mouth yet). She's grabbing toys and whatever she can get her hands on goes in her mouth. She's drooling an awful lot and chewing on her burp rag, but I refuse to believe she's teething yet. She's been sleeping a lot. She now gets 10-11 hours at night and about 3 naps during the day.

We took her to get her portrait taken at Kiddie Kandids. They did such a good job, and despite a quick meltdown at scene change, Layla did incredibly well. The pictures are adorable. I have to remind myself there will be many more pictures, so I don't spend a fortune on all these.

I'm a little behind on my blog, but I'll try to get more pics posted soon. Jonathan is doing well. He's extremely busy, as always, but is looking forward to shorter work days in the near future. He's doing good things and has been given a huge responsibility, but who better to take on the task?
