We got our first "real" smiles today. She smiles after she's eaten and is in a half-asleep daze, but today she looked at Jonathan and smiled and looked at me and smiled (different occasions). Maybe she does actually like us!
She's also become more alert and content. She will now lay on the living room floor by herself while I clean the kitchen in the mornings and sit in her chair in the bathroom while I get ready in the mornings and clean up in the evenings.
The weather has been so nice. We get a walk in each day. She rarely makes it down the stairs before she falls asleep.
I tried weighing her the scientific way (weighing myself and then me holding her). I'm pretty sure she weighs just over 10 lbs now. I can tell she's gaining weight, because it's getting harder to pick her up instead of easier.
I'll try to take more pics this weekend. I need to capture her "mad face" and the look of concentration while filling her diaper. Too bad you can't hear the little grunts in a picture.
